James Bond Basin

20 January 2008

Despite Jimmy's request to go skiing on the snowy Saturday, Grahame Geoff and I ditched him and decided to go for the sun. It was a quick ski in, but for some reason there was many more skiers than past years. With the sides of the bowl mostly skied out, we climbed eastward and skied the slopes on the back side of the ridge. The ridge was windy cold with not so good snow, but just below the ridge top it was light and fluffy.

Nice Open Trees

Q

Nicely spaced trees, they got a bit tighter lower down as it got steeper. But the shadow did not make for good photos.

The lone good photo of Geoff. I missed a great line when my gloved hand missed the shutter button.
