Laos

10th June to 8th July 2002

Laos was the asthetic continuation of my trip through Cambodia. As I was finishing up with a hike in the NE of Cambodia, it made sense to continue north up the Mekong into Laos. From there I traveled the length of the country, visting both the north east and north west.

Laos for me was a country of lush green forests and muddy brown rivers. Everything felt very non develped and the pace of life was very slow.

For some reason I never got around to writing an email about Laos. Maybe someday I will go through my journal and write on, but it has not happened yet.
